Estimate maximum wire capacity based on reel geometry.
Quick-select standard reel dimensions (30/42, 42/60, etc.) to auto-fill core, flange, and traverse.
Select from previously saved reel specifications.
Target wire length to hold (e.g., 300m). Optional for achievement check.
Select a standard to automatically set the Freeboard.
Choose cable type (TK90, SOOW, RW90, etc.)
Cable designation that sets wire diameter automatically
Configure conductor and insulation properties for weight calculations.
Note: Weight estimates are approximate based on selected material specific gravities. Actual cable weight may vary due to manufacturing tolerances.
đĸ USABLE WORKING CAPACITY
Ready-to-use wire (dead wraps excluded)
--
PHYSICAL TOTAL CAPACITY
Maximum possible (includes dead wraps)

SAFETY-MARGIN CAPACITY
With freeboard clearance applied

Why Dead Wraps Matter
The first 3 layers are "dead wraps" - physically present but unusable due to winding mechanics. They ensure proper tension and stability for the working layers above. This is a fundamental engineering requirement, not a capacity reduction.
